Introducing The SMX-200 & SMX-250 Multi-Deck Interface

The SMX-200 Multi-Deck Interface box connects to the Pyramid SVR-200, while the SMX-250 works with the SVR-250 or SVR-P250 to interface to a dual or tri band/deck Kenwood NX-5000 series mobile radio.

The SMX-200/250 are microprocessor controlled multiplex interface box that intelligently route all calls to the selected deck on the Kenwood NX-5000 multi-deck radio. For example, when a user selects a channel that is VHF, the NX-5000 radio notifies the SMX-200/250 which RF deck is selected and the SMX-200/250 will route all traffic from the SVR to the proper/selected RF deck.

The SMX-200/250 supports dual band and tri band radio configurations. Regardless of the band or channel selected, the SMX-200/250 will route the calls in both directions to the selected RF deck/band of the RF platform for the user selected channel.
